Which Rose should I choose?
Rose Absolute and Rose Otto can be used interchangeably. Rose Absolute is thicker, has a dark orange color, and has a very intense scent. Rose Otto is steam distilled and is less overpowering to your sense of smell, it is also thinner and clear so it won't stain like the absolute. Rose de Mai has a very potent sensuous aroma that is said to be closer to the true scent of the fresh rose. Roe Absolute and Rose de Mai are solevant extracted while Rose Otto is steam distilled. Rose de Mai smells closer to a rose than any other I have ever smelled.
