Shipping Your Products
Most orders are prepared for shipping within 28 hours of being received. Occasionally products may not be in stock but will still ship within 7-10 business days, depending on inventory levels and/or the shipping method required for each product. This processing time is in addition to the actual shipping/delivery timeframes.
When you place an order online shipping is $5.00 on all orders less than $100 and orders over that amount are free when shipped in the US.
Shipping charges for orders placed over the phone and shipped in the US are as follows:
1 - Three 10ml essential oils or less = $3.00
2 - Anything else = $5.00
For expedited shipping additional shipping charges will apply.
Prices vary on all orders shipped outside of the US.
Additional shipping charges are added to heavier products such as some bulk products. These are currently done through phone-in orders only.
When Will I Receive My Products?
While we do everything we can to ship your package the same day it was placed, orders placed after 10am typically ship the next business day.
Packages are shipped from our facility in Clifton ID.
There are some times that the processing and packaging may take longer than expected, and we apologize for the inconvenience but we will make sure to do our best to get your package to you as quickly as possible.
All packages should have a tracking number emailed to you the day the package was shipped.
We currently ship through USPS for most packages. UPS is used for larger packages.
While we try to provide the best shipping solution possible for our customers so they can receive their product as quickly and securely as possible, patience is appreciated since we cannot control how fast the shipping services deliver the packages.
Product Return Policy
Our goal is for you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We take pride in the quality of the products we sell and offering great customer service is our top priority. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please follow the guidelines detailed below and we will be happy to help you to return your purchase.
1 - Returns on all new unopened products within 90 Days. Butterfly Express will refund one hundred percent (100%) of the purchase price (plus applicable tax if paid) no questions asked with an unopened or unused product that is returned.
2 - Returns on Open/Used Products within 90 Days.
Butterfly Express will refund seventy-five - one hundred percent (75%-100%) of the purchase price (plus applicable tax if paid) depending on the use of products that are returned.
Return of damaged products will be exchanged if the returned products were received by the purchaser in damaged condition or were incorrectly sent. Such products must be returned within twenty-one (21) days of receipt. Returned products will be replaced with undamaged products.
Some items have a modified return policy.
Items that are opened or damaged MAY be denied a refund or exchange if:
1 - Labeling has been altered or damaged
2 - The product does not contain current label
3 - Products are seasonal and out of the season
3 – Item is discontinued, limited time offers, or special promotional products
Not all items are returnable (such as gallon products) and some items have special exceptions (such as more than 1/4 of bottle used). Please note that bundled items need to be returned with all items for a full return. Products purchased as part of a kit or package must be returned in its entirety.
Refunds will be issued as Butterfly Express gift card or in the original form of payment that we received. No returns for purchases made with checks will be made if you have outstanding checks or balance owed. At our discretion, we will repair it, replace it, or, based on your method of payment with a valid sales order number, refund you.
Refund options. At Butterfly Express’s discretion they may determine the acceptable refund for product returns, including but not limited to the following:
1 - Company gift card
2 - Credit card charge back
3 – Check
The actual form of refund will be based upon the form of payment. Refunds will only be paid to the original purchaser.
Returning Your Purchase
To return a qualifying Butterfly Express purchase you’ve made you must have the account, purchase information/sales order number available and the payment information you used for the purchase. You can:
1 - Take it to our facility in Clifton Idaho.
2 - Return via USPS with all above information to the following address:
