Sun Shade Lotion is designed to provide light sun cover without chemicals. It contains all-natural oils with an SPF factor ranging from 2-50. These natural ingredients help to protect against UV rays.
These oils have been mixed with water and emulsifiers to make a lotion, so they are only part of the final product. With any product used for sun protection, it is a good idea to reapply every 60 to 90 minutes. For extra protection, you can apply more than one layer.

These homemade natural lotions are gentle enough for all skin types. They are paraben-free, formaldehyde free, and they contain no petroleum products, no animal products, and no artificial fragrances or dyes.
Ingredients:
Distilled Water, Red Raspberry Seed Oil, Stearic Acid, Veggie Emulsifier, Wheat Germ Oil, Cocoa Butter, Mango Butter, Sodium Lactate, Cranberry Seed Oil, Avocado Oil, Carrot Seed Oil, Liquid Silk, Optiphen.

The information and SPF factors of the oils used were obtained through internet research. The only way to know the SPF of the final product is to pay a lot of money to have it tested, and you cannot claim an SPF without FDA approval anyway. Use this product at your own discretion. It does not contain any FDA-regulated chemical sunblock.
Interesting Fact:
SPF 20 sunscreen blocks about 94% of the UVB rays of the sun. SPF 40 sunscreen does NOT block twice as much. It blocks around 98% of the UVB rays.
