Calendula Dry Herb Pack Calendula officinalis
Learning with LaRee
Calendula has long been one of the herbs that midwives relied on to heal any small “skid marks” or stretched perineal tissues after childbirth. It has a place as a first aid remedy for cuts and abrasions because of its wound healing and antiseptic properties. Calendula has an affinity for the female reproductive system in many other ways, also. It regulates menstruation and relieves menstrual cramps, aids in menopause, reduces congestion in breast lymph tissue, and is helpful in treating cysts.
