Which Helichrysum should I choose?
Helichrysum Italicum and Helichrysum Angustifolia have the same therapeutic properties. Italicum is a higher quality oil and has a more mellow, pleasant aroma. It is also quite a bit higher in cost. Angustifolia is still very therapeutic and more practical for use in some applications as the cost is much lower. Indian Helichrysum is a Helichrysum angustifolia variety, but it has a sweeter, floral, honey-like fragrance compared to the sharp, cool eucalyptus‑camphor scent of the standard angustifolia variety.
